End of an era

For 25 years approx. 0-5 club has been an outreach to parents, carers, grandparents and toddlers. The club was the result of the village playgroup closing and I believe it was the community church that had the vision to start this club as a witness to mostly unchurched families. Over the years the club has gone through many changes, having to move from the forum but finding a new home in the Methodist church for the last 4 years. The time has come to close, and this notice is to say it has been my privilege to be part of Gods team over the last 19 years, working alongside members from all of the churches in Kidlington at some point. I have absolutely loved meeting the young mums with their little ones, and I believe that through their Christian Christmas books, Easter cards and sometimes doing a Messy church, seeds have been sown and friendships made. A very big thank you to those who helped right up to the end. In His service, Marilyn King
