God at Work - Church Night on 24th April

We all spend a significant fraction of our adult lives in the workplace. How well-equipped are we to cope with strains and stresses of paid employment? How do we deal with a bullying boss, gossipy and poorly motivated colleagues and the endless struggle to keep the job from taking over? Have we learnt to prioritize? Have we discovered the secret to achieving a work/life balance? How do we view retirement? Is retirement an option for a Christian? Are there jobs which a Christian should not do?

These are just some of the questions we will be discussing on the Church Night on 24th April. Coffee and biscuits will be on offer at the start of the evening and then after a short introduction to the whole subject we will divide into discussion groups.

There will be four discussion areas:

· Working with the Boss
· Working with Colleagues
· Work and Me
· Is there work after work?

In the course of the evening we can participate in two groups and the questions for discussion will be available before the evening. You may also bring along your own questions.
The evening will begin at 7:30pm and finish by 9:30pm. This is an important and very practical Church Night which we hope will be helpful for everyone.
