As you may know, from time to time St Mary’s organises a parish trip over a long weekend to visit cathedrals and other points of interest. This year we will be going to Kent, with visits to Rochester Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral and Dover Castle. This will be from Friday to Monday of the early May bank holiday weekend. We still have some places available (we need 5 more people to sign up to make the trip viable, but could probably take a few more than that if there were more than five people interested).

The cost of the trip is £277.50, which includes coach travel, 3 nights’ hotel (with dinner & breakfast) and entry/tour costs for the places we are visiting. The single supplement is £15. A £50 deposit can be paid to our parish office, now located at the St John’s vicarage. I recognise that it isn’t a cheap trip, but it is very good value. From my experience, I can say that these trips are also very good fun.
