KBC Men’s Breakfast

posted 12 Jul 2016, 10:11 by KBC Webservant
is back by popular demand! - you are invited to a "full English" breakfast at KBC on Saturday, 23rd July at 8:15 a.m. for 8:30 a.m., followed by a brief talk by Nick Page on: "The Dark Night of the Shed".
Nick Page, who lives in Eynsham, has been called “God’s most dangerous writer”. Nick is well known for his entertaining and informative writing and speaking – who said learning can’t be fun?! - and has written more than 70 books on a wide variety of topics, many about “the dangerous and radical nature of early Christianity and its radical founder” and combining humour - I’ve never laughed out loud as much while reading history! – and practical application. Nick will be talking on the subject of his latest book – “The Dark Night of the Shed” - a book about Men, Spirituality, Crises – and Sheds - in which he helps us answer such important questions as ”Who am I? What am I scared of? Where did I put my hammer?”…and to “emerge with a new vision of God, a fresh sense of purpose and, most importantly, a really good shed”. If you would like to come, please let Bryan Franks, Cosmin Talas or David Evans know by Sunday 17th July so that we can ensure sufficient food! Guests are very welcome. There is no charge but if you do wish to make a donation, £3 -£4 should cover the cost.
