News from Baptist Union of GB:

As a Union of churches, associations and colleges, our life together continues to be rich and varied. In all aspects of Baptists Together, including Council, trustee boards, and project teams across the UK, we look to bring together groups and teams of people who can serve in this way in order to make real our mission.
In the first half of 2015, four roles will become available:

  • Moderator of the Baptist Union of Great Britain Board of Trustees
  • Council Facilitator (formerly Moderator of Council)
  • Trustee, Baptist Union of Great Britain Trustee Board
  • Project Leader for the Review of our Ministries

Information packs on these roles are available by email from the office.  We welcome expressions of interest by 2nd March from anyone who feels that they may be called to serve our Union in this way. The Nominations Committee will be considering all those who express an interest at their meeting on 3 March, and through a day of discernment on 12 March.

We ask that you would pray for us as we seek to discern who God is calling to take on these roles in our Union life together.
