Paul and Sarah Brown

Bangkok is known as a centre of the sex trade, where many young women are lured or even tricked into becoming prostitutes.  But there is an organisation in Bangkok called Nightlight, with which BMS partners, reaching out to women and children who have become victims of prostitution or trafficking to enable them to escape and find a new life through learning new skills.

Paul and Sarah were seconded by BMS to Nightlight in 2012.  Paul is trained in accountancy and is doing the accounts and financial reports and also helping in outreach to men, while Sarah, who ran her own business in Britain, is involved in training the women in making and selling jewellery and other skills which may help them to find alternative employment.  It is a very practical way of showing God’s love.
