A Year of Ignite
We try to provide a range of different activities that the children can engage with and enjoy. Some are tried and tested favourites, some are one-offs that are linked to an event or occasion, and some don’t always work out that well! In the 2022/23 school year we managed to fit in: indoor games, painting stones, placing stones around the village followed by outdoor chips and games, Play Your Cards Right, spy codes, memory rhymes, NHS night, Australian Christmas with barbecue, obstacle course, Crystal Maze, smash the robot junk modelling, Burns Night, bench ball, bingo, Valentine Cafe preparation, pancake night, St David's Day (Daffodil buttonhole, rugby ball target kicking, herd sheep balloons, sheep or potato), parachute games, pizza making, Hama Beads, big games, board games, table tennis, train station game, Art Attack, Taskmaster, Pictionary, tower building, car park games, capture the flag, Coronation Night (sleeping corgis, match the weight of the crown, musical thrones, family tree), visits to the local parks, fitness class followed by ice cream (!), Strava walk and draw followed by chips, Ignite Overnite, build and fire catapults, water games, and families@Ignite. It was another busy year!!
