70th Anniversary Celebrations

KBC

1956 - 2026

In 1953 a small group of Christians established a church on The Moors in the village of Kidlington. The official Act of Inauguration of the Church was held on Saturday 4th November 1956 when 16 people who had been baptised as believers stood to repeat the Covenant together and became its founder members. In the subsequent seventy years, generations of believers have worshipped at Kidlington Baptist Church and have served the community in which it is placed.

To celebrate this anniversary, friends of KBC past and present are invited to join together over the weekend of 14th and 15th November 2026 to honour those who have come before us and to praise God for his goodness over the years.
