25 March - (including link to Phil's vlog)

After the Prime Ministers address on Monday 23rd March, a decision has been made to close the church premises to all people, at all times, except for the Food Bank, who are providing a vital service. We are asking all members not to attempt to use their keys or attempt access at any time.

Video message from Phil Durrant 18th March Message to KBC

17th March (evening)

We are following the guidance of Public Health England and supplementary advice issued by the Baptist Union. In light of the announcements yesterday and updates provided during today by the Baptist Union, our usual Sunday morning services will not take place. However we are aiming to continue with an opportunity on-line instead. More information on this will be posted soon.

Similarly, in light of Baptist Union guidance, we have taken the decision that children and youth groups will not meet; this includes Little Fishes, Pulse, Quake, TGI and Solid Rock. With regret other church-related groups will also not take place, including those held off-site . This will be until at least 30 April, unless otherwise advised.

The North Oxfordshire Food Bank that operates from the church premises will be continuing at present.

Groups from the community that use the church premises will be contacted by the church administrator.

We recognise that the situation with the coronavirus is developing rapidly and changing daily. Any key updates related to KBC will be posted here.

16 March 2020 (evening):

We recognise that the situation with the coronavirus is developing rapidly and changing daily. We are following the guidance of Public Health England and any supplementary advice issued by the Baptist Union.

We are aware of the Prime Minister’s statement on Monday afternoon requesting that the public stop non-essential travel and reduce social contact.

Updates will be posted here shortly regarding Sunday morning services and in relation to groups and activities that use the church.
