Are you someone with a gift for drawing people closer to Jesus and one another, helping all to know, and grow in, God; someone with a wise head and an attentive heart?
We’re prayerfully seeking the person that God is calling to join our team as Pastoral Care Team Lead and are looking for someone who could:
Coordinate, provide and develop pastoral care within our church community and outreach ministries, so that people of all ages are better able to flourish and grow as disciples of Jesus;
Help to deepen our relationships with God and one another; building up the love, unity, cohesion and resilience of the fellowship;
Increase our ability to engage with and integrate seekers, newcomers and people on the fringes of our church community.
This role might dovetail with a ministerial training course or placement. Or it could suit someone who is thinking about bi-vocational ministry and/or seeking to transition into retirement after a career in full time ministry. Alternatively, it might suit someone exploring a role in pastoral care, with the church assisting in providing or facilitating any necessary training.
This comes with the awareness that God equips the called. We’re not necessarily looking for someone who ticks every box. If you are passionate about journeying alongside people, helping them to access God’s resources for their spiritual wellbeing and growth, and enabling our church community in Kidlington to be built up in God’s love we would like to hear from you.
